Welcome to Monu's Kitchen

We are a family-run food truck serving authentic Indian snacks and curries made from fresh ingredients. We are based at Jim Brew's, Clifton Fields, PR4 0XG. We operate on Friday evenings from 4 to 9 p.m. All our food is served fresh and cooked from scratch. We use a wide range of spices and source our food locally.

Abhi goes to great lengths to ensure his food is authentic, delicious, and unique. His passion for food is second to none! Although only recently established, he is cherished locally for his food and has regular customers.

How Monu's Began

It all began in a small town in north India, Dehradun. When a young boy was growing up in an Ashram, he loved his visits home to taste his mum's amazing parathas and dad's chicken curries. Many years later, he studied culinary arts with his soon-to-be wife in Bangalore. His passion for food was ignited after an internship in the Taj Falaknuma Palace. After moving to England, he loved the fast pace of the kitchen but dreamed of cooking his dishes. Three years later, Abhi and Suze invested in a converted horse trailer and made his dream a reality. For those intrigued, Monu is Abhi's home name, known to his mum, dad, and siblings, and Abhishek is his official name.
